Research

I study ecosystem processes in forests, woodlands, and shrublands to advance the scientific basis of natural climate solutions. My work integrates observations and models to develop a cross-scale understanding of C allocation in a warming world.

Teaching

I currently teach the Natural Resources Seminar (RNR-696A). My teaching interests include ecosystem ecology, global change, natural climate solutions, terrestrial biogeochemistry, and disturbance dynamics. Students are welcome to contact me directly.
