Peace Corps Week Brings Surprise for Recent SNRE Masters Graduate Denise Garcia

"Peace Corps Week" brought a wonderful surprise to recent SNRE Masters graduate, Denise Garcia (left). An aspiring Peace Corps volunteer waiting to hear back about her application, Denise got the news hand delivered at the beginning of a talk entitled "Working Officially Internationally" by the Peace Corps Chief of Staff, Stacey Rhodes (right). He and Lauren Maghran (center), UA Peace Corps Recruiter and SNRE graduate student, hand delivered the letter nominating her to work in Thies, Senegal in support of an agroforestry program. Congratulations Denise! Well done!
