Dr. Barron Orr Named 1885 Society Distinguished Scholar

Congratulations to Dr. Barron Orr, who has been named as one of the University's 1885 Society Distinguished Scholars for 2013!

1885 Society Distinguished Scholars are outstanding mid-career faculty who are both leading experts in their fields and highly valued contributors to the teaching, research, and outreach missions of the University of Arizona. The designation of 1885 Society Distinguished Scholar honors faculty whose research, scholarship, and/or creative contributions promise to catapult their disciplines to new levels of innovation. Each recipient receives a one-time award of $10,000 and the title of 1885 Society Distinguished Scholar.
