Dr. Dave Moore and Dr. Russ Monson's Study of Pine Beetle Infestations and Carbon Fluxes Featured in UCAR and UANews

Dr. Dave Moore and Dr. Russ Monson collaborated with other researchers to measure the amount of carbon released into the atmosphere from forests dying from pine beetle infestations. Contrary to predictions, their study found that there is no large spike in carbon released by the dead trees.
